4 Easy Ways to Incorporate ACV Into Your Morning Routine

By now you know that apple cider vinegar (ACV) is good for your health. Every wellness guru under the sun has raved about the many health benefits of ACV, and instructed you to drink it every morning. If drinking a shot of it doesn’t appeal to you, here are 4 alternate ways you can incorporate this magical ingredient into your morning routine

use apple cider vinegar as a hair rinse

1. As a Hair Rinse

I have been on a mission to find a way to cut back on using shampoo. For those days when you just have to rinse your hair, but know it’s too soon to shampoo again, I love using baking soda and ACV! First, apply a mixture of one part baking soda and three parts water to your hair, let it sit for 3 minutes, and then rinse. After that, apply ACV diluted in water to your strands. This will totally get rid of buildup, and make your hair feel super clean.

2. As a Toner

This works like a charm! Dilute one part ACV in four parts water, and apply with a cotton pad. So simple, yet it will leave your skin glowing!

use apple cider vinegar to clean your coffee maker

3. To Clean Your Coffee Maker

Guys, clean your coffee makers! It’s easy to forget that your coffee maker needs a good thorough cleanout just like any other appliance, as it can harbor bacteria and mold. Run your coffee maker through a cycle using a mix of one part ACV with two parts water. Then, run it one more time with just water to flush out the ACV.

4. In Your Soap

My all time favorite way to use ACV is in my soap each morning in the shower. The takesumi detox® deodorant booster bar makes it so easy to reap the benefits of apple cider vinegar! Why do I love it so much? It provides an extra layer of protection against underarm odor.

Here’s what you need to know:

Body odor isn’t actually caused by sweat; rather, it’s caused when the bacteria under your arms interacts with sweat. So, technically, if you get rid of the bacteria you will help mitigate odor-causing bacteria. And guess what? ACV KILLS BACTERIA ON THE SKIN! Use the deodorant booster bar under your arms before applying any deodorant for longer lasting odor protection.
