Amplify the effects of brightening ingredients with this two-step underarm hygiene system. Designed for speed in brightening and minimizing the appearance of dark spot pigmentation in the underarm region due to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

With kojic acid Dipalmitate (more stable form of kojic acid that does not oxidize) helps to even out skin tone. It works by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase, which is responsible for melanin production.

 Post Shower Treatment:  

the brightening deodorant 65g:
With niacinamide, alpha arbutin a safe natural alternative to hydroquinone for fading dark underarms. The deodorant contains activated charcoal with is highly porous and absorbs bacteria and impurities that cause body odor. It also helps absorb moisture better than many other natural deodorants. The brightening deodorant has a cream-powder finish with solid moisture absorbing coverage.

Step 1: the kojic acid brightening bar

Use the kojic acid brightening bar daily in the shower. Moisten the bar and lather in the underarm region for 30 seconds to allow the actives to penetrate the area before rinsing off. 

Step 2: the brightening deodorant

Follow with the brightening deodorant for speed in brightening results. Apply a generous application of deodorant to clean, dry underarms daily.

Once dark spots are minimized, continue to use the deodorant for lasting results.

If you experience excess sweat, we recommend using our 3-step brightening system that includes the sweat powder.

We recommend implementing the following tips:

Shaving is the #1 cause due to irritation. Use a shave oil, shave at night and don’t apply anything to the area for 12-24 hours following shaving.
Avoid irritating underarm products that contain ingredients such as baking soda, aluminum or high levels of fragrance
Reduce chafing and friction in affected area, including chafing from tight, non-breathable clothing materials

If your main concern is to treat dark underarms, then you should use the 2-step takesumi bright system for dark underarms. It will manage odor and dark underarms at the same time.

If you are not concerned about dark underarms, then use the 2-step takesumi detox system for excess odor.

No, the niacinamide brightening deodorant is not an antiperspirant. It is an aluminum-free natural deodorant and thusdoesn’tstop you from sweating. Itcontainsa potent fermentation extract and activated charcoal to neutralize odor and manage odor-causing bacteria.

The kojic acid brightening bar can be safely used on dark spot pigmentation found on the:

STEP 1: the kojic acid brightening bar Moisten the bar and apply the lather to affected areas with a soft and gentle cloth or silicone exfoliating brush (fingers can be used if exfoliating has occurred more than twice a week). Massage for 30 seconds to allow the actives to penetrate the area before rinsing off.

STEP 2: niacinamide deodorant Follow with a generous application of deodorant to clean, dry underarms daily.

STEP 3: the sweat powder For extra protection against excess perspiration, and to prevent chafing and irritation that can lead to hyperpigmentation, apply a generous layer of the sweat powder over top of your deodorant.

The niacinamide deodorant can also be used following the kojic acid brightening bar on areas with dark spot pigmentation and experience chafing and friction such as the inner thighs.

Once dark spots are minimized, continue to use the deodorant on underarms for lasting results.

Do not use after shaving or waxing. Always shave at night and allow the skin to calm down before applying the deodorant.

Cleared my underarms and inner thighs

I’ve been using the takesumi kit for 3 months now and have seeing improvement on my
Underarm and inner thighs. Normally I don’t use deodorant because they cause me to smell right after I put it, but the takesumi has been a game changer. It clear my armpits, and protects me without clogging my pores which is what caused me to smell. Thank you for these great products.

Hi Maria I thank you for the review but I just want to let you know that the reason it is hard is the stick contains clay and powder to transfer to your underarm in order to give your underarm powder to absorb sweat. The heat on your skin will warm up the skin and allow it to glide on the skin.

I honestly can't tell the difference as far as brightening my armpits area. I used the bar and deodorant together to maximize my efforts in lightening my armpits but alas to no avail and I had been using them for a few years now. Oh well...I'm still giving 5 stars because it didn't cause any rash to my already highly allergy prone sensitive skin and it smells great!
