We have always embraced using ingredients from nature so we are doing our part (and-then-some), to preserve nature and our planet.

kaia has made it a priority each year to make changes in the way we do business and in particular in the products that we market. We have developed our own three-year plan to reduce our packaging footprint.

OUR DEODORANT PACKAGING

USES 40% PCR PLASTIC

Post-consumer recycled content, referred to as PCR, is material made from the items that consumers recycle every day, like aluminum, cardboard boxes, paper, and plastic bottles. These are items collected from recycling facilities are then melted into small pellets. kaia naturals uses 40% PCR plastic in all of the pieces of our deodorant packaging.

This is a relatively new process but as it becomes more advanced our goal is to make 100% of our packaging from this material.

COMPOSTABLE, BIODEGRADABLE AND SUSTAINABLE

Where possible, we use biodegradable materials in our products to minimize the amount of materials that end up in the landfill. Our vitamin cleanse cloths are 100% compostable, biodegradable and use sustainable bamboo, transforming a traditionally wasteful product into a high sustainable option.

REFILLABLE SYSTEMS

Our goal is to make products refillable where possible, giving consumers the ability to make sustainable purchase decisions. Our first refillable product is launching in 2022, with more to come!
